I have a friend, her name is Maria. Maria is an out of this world talented fashion designer and the creative mastermind behind the new up and coming label Harlyn. Harlyn is uptown chic with a downtown edge, it is where sexy meets nerdy and flirty meets professional and everything in between.

I had the honor of working with Maria and the Harlyn team for their first ever look book just a few months ago. Now I am so proud to see the line be launched into what I know will be a very successful career, for not only Maria, but the Harlyn brand as a whole.

Below are some pictures from the look book photo shoot we did this summer, we went for a mod vintage vibe pulling inspiration from the beautiful Lana Del Rey- incorporating side wept cascading waves, perfect skin and a seductive nude/pink lip for look #1. Look #2 was more of a "hot nerd" vibe as Maria called it, this was created by crimping and teasing the hair to oblivion and applying a heavy coat of purple/pink matte lipstick - I love the way it turned out! I makeup my life

Luckily for my sisters and me, my dad has been in the beauty industry since before we were born. I have literally been knee deep with products since the day I can remember. Ironically, it was my mother who has been educating me on tricks of the trade and the proper way to care for your skin since I was old enough to hold a mascara wand.
